Camel trip
"Gazelle" - 8 days
Start early in the morning M'HAMID. After a few hours walk, lunch in the shade of acacia trees. Rest a few hours and resumed walking toward the tomb of the marabout Sidi Naji. Installing the camp for a night under the stars or in tents nomad.
Day 2 : SIDI NAJI / ERG ZAHAR
Crossing a tamarisk Hamada before reaching Erg ZAHAR, large dune overlooking the most beautiful part of the Moroccan desert.
Day 3 : ERG ZAHAR / ERG SMAR
A few hours walk will take us to the Erg SMAR for lunch and we resume the camel ride to the Erg LAGHRAIR.
Day 4 : ERG SAMAR/ CHEGAGA
This day will lead us to Chegaga, the largest dunes in the region where we discover the nomadic lifestyle. The camp is located at the foot of this sea of sand and high dunes 300m, you will enjoy with fullness and delicacy of dawn and dusk.
Day 5 : CHEGAGA / OUM LAÂLAG
After a short half-day of march, the caravan takes a little rest MAIHAT ASSOLAH before reaching the sacred Oasis OUM LÂALAG to rest and spend the night.
Day 6 : OUM LAÂLAG / BOUGARN
Continue walking and discovery of desert plants. Arrive to LAATACHE Oued (Wadi thirst) around noon, lunch and rest near a puits.Vers 16:00, we headed BOUGARN, night under the starry sky.
Day 7 : BOUGARN / OUED NAÂM
Change of scenery, it leaves BOUGARN to find a well deserved rest in Wadi Naam.
The 8th day, one starts to quietly M'Hamid.
