A trip from Ouarzazate to Chegaga

2 Days : Ouarzazate - Draa Valley - Large dunes of Chegaga - Ouarzazate

Morning departure is by a 4 wheel drive to Ouarzazate, M'hamid, through the Draa Valley and its ‘a thousand and one thousand’ kasbahs, skirting a grove of over 200 km. Passage through the village of Zagora and one of the Agdz A stopover at Tamgroute to visit the Koranic library, an invitation to watch the artistic pottery making and a relaxed walk through the underground streets. Continue to Chegaga via M'hamid, dinner and overnight is at Chegaga in the heart of the biggest sand dunes of Morocco.

Breakfast is at the camp before leaving in a 4 wheel drive across the tracks back to M'hamid, an enjoyable camel ride for a one hour tour of the old Ksar M'hamid. Have tea at a local home then continue to Ouarzazate.
